Sep 19 | Star Theater | One Night Only
Portland, we’ve carved one more name into the ritual.
Yama Uba is joining the Glōm Fest lineup at Star Theater, bringing a spellbinding collision of dark synth pop and post-punk to the stage for one unforgettable night.
The duo, Akiko Sampson and Winter Zora, pull emotion from the shadows and set it ablaze with velvet synths, shimmering guitar, machine beats, and a saxophone that cuts straight to the soul. Their sound lives between dreamstate and descent, where love, rage, and longing explode into cinematic release.
Live, Yama Uba doesn’t just perform. They possess the room. With shows across the US and Japan, they’ve shared stages with Kaelan Mikla, Buzz Kull, Pink Turns Blue, Harsh Symmetry, and more. Now they’re bringing that voltage to Glōm.
With The Awakening, The Cemetary Girlz, Dark Chisme, Aeon Sable, and The Royal Ritual already locked in, Yama Uba’s arrival completes one of the most emotionally charged and sonically diverse nights of the tour.
September 19. Portland. You know where to be.
